robots, $300M series Ds, generative video... and more
got untapped potential? love building? you’re in the right place📍
👋 Hi Folks!
Back with your weekly reminder that, yes, job hunting still sucks, but we’re here to make it a little less painful.
Here’s our weekly roundup of hot jobs in tech and beyond.
It’ll be a 5-minute read worth every second: our past readers have walked away with offers!
And, if that doesn’t work out, we’ve included job search tips and free resources at the end, just to make sure there’s still a value-add.
Spotlight: 1x
Meet the next-gen startup that’s shaping the future of robotics. 1X creates mind-blowing humanoid robots. They’re building a world where we can do more of what we love, while their creations handle the rest… and I’m personally very ready for a robot that can do my laundry.
1X believes humanoid robots should live and learn among us to properly understand the subtleties of real life. So, by the end of this year, they’ll be starting early tests of their AI-driven robot, Neo Gamma, in a few thousand US homes - much to Will Smith’s chagrin.
1X has strong backing from top-tier investors, including OpenAI, which hopefully means they have the resources needed to work on leading-edge robotics. After all, hardware is famously hard.
1X is hiring for roles in engineering, manufacturing, AI, and more (in the US or Norway). Apply now
More High-Growth Opportunities
Harvey
No. Not Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. Harvey the company, which develops AI tools for law firms. You know the old adage “bury them in discovery?” Not if Harvey has anything to do with it. Harvey’s legal tools are already being used by Fortune 500s and major law firms, including KKR, PwC, and A&O Shearman - they also recently raised a $300M series D round. 👀

Abridge
Founded by Dr Shiv Rao, a practicing cardiologist, Abridge is redefining the future of healthcare. Based in Pittsburgh, Abridge uses AI to streamline medical note-taking. Doctors enjoy less admin and make fewer errors. Patients get better, more personalized care. Everyone wins. (Except comedians. They lose. No more jokes about illegible doctors notes unfortunately.)
Abridge is hiring for remote and on-site roles (US based) in design, engineering, accounting, and more. Apply now

ElectronX
ElectronX is helping the US transition to renewable energy. They use AI to analyze electricity flow in power grids, preventing waste and smoothly adding clean alternatives like wind and solar. If you like the planet then maybe you should look at their jobs.

Job Search Tips
1️⃣ Hacking LinkedIn’s Posting Date Filter
LinkedIn doesn’t provide built-in functionality to filter jobs posted within the past hour - but we’ve got a simple hack to give you an advantage to find the freshest jobs:
Search for your desired job and filter for “Past 24 hours”
In the URL, change “86400” to “3600”
Voila. You’ve successfully filtered to jobs posted in the past 1 hour!
2️⃣ Check Out TrueUp
I met Amit Taylor last week - this guy is incredible. He built TrueUp, a primo jobs aggregator, entirely on his own. The tool has some unique sections that are really helpful in identifying new companies to target. I recommend taking a look at the following:
3️⃣ Check Out Jordan Carver’s Game Jobs List
Jordan Carver recently shared this post on LinkedIn - it includes 26 game studios that are actively hiring - along with a vociferous debate about the use of Ghibli-style imagery. It’s a fun twofer.
